TORONTO — Canadian travel agents can become a Costa Rica specialist and be entered to win a gift card for localkeeps.com at the same time.
Running throughout the month of May, the Costa Rica Specialist Program contest, hosted by the Costa Rica Tourism Board and available on Travelweek’s Learning Centre, is open to Canadian agents who have completed the program to become a qualified specialist.
Completing the specialist program earns each agent 2 ballots. Additional ballots can be earned by completing the weekly questions on the contest landing page, which will be swapped out weekly, over the course of four weeks. Winners will be notified via email within seven days of the weekly draw.
There will be one prize awarded weekly for a total of four weeks. The prize will consist of a US$125 gift card at localkeeps.com, an online store featuring beauty and food products that are locally made by Costa Rican eco-friendly entrepreneurs. Products range from snacks and coffee, to body scrubs, essential oils and body creams, all made in Costa Rica.
The Costa Rica Specialist Program provides a general overview of the destination, including its top attractions and national parks, it world-renowned bio-diversity and sustainable initiatives. Agents will also learn about various itinerary options that cover a wide range of group types and preferences, from adventure to romance and family fun.
