TORONTO — To help head up its new luxury-focused division called Debut Journeys, Travel Professionals International (TPI) has appointed travel industry veteran Barbara Finn to the position of Managing Director.

Most recently serving three years as Director, Canada for Travel Edge, Finn’s new role at Debut Journeys will include attracting high-value luxury travel advisors, creating programs to support the needs of advisors in the luxury travel space while at the same time elevating the brand.

“The opportunity at Debut Journeys was one that I could not pass up,” said Finn. “Having worked in the luxury travel market for the past several years has made me realize that there are key differences between being a travel advisor and a luxury travel advisor. I feel that I can greatly contribute to the mutual success of the advisor and the company given my background, track record and expertise.”
