MISSISSAUGA, ON — Azul Airlines (AD), Brazil’s third largest air carrier, is now accepting Visa and MasterCard as forms of payment in GDS systems, according to representative Air Promotion Group (APG) Canada.

Currently, AD flights can be booked and ticketed in Amadeus and Apollo platforms across Canada.

APG Canada Director Karl Müller said that “with over 900 daily domestic flights in addition to operations from Fort Lauderdale and Orlando airports in the U.S., booking and ticketing AD flights has never been easier.

“This will be especially useful for tour operators and corporate agencies that need to book clients beyond traditional gateway airports in Brazil. Standard agency commission on published fares is 5%.”

Azul Brazilian Airlines is represented in Canada by APG.
