MONTREAL — Azul Brazilian Airlines (AD) has increased commissions in the Canadian market on published fares to 7% for all Economy cabin RBDs and 10% for Business Class RBDs.

This increase follows the recent announcement of credit card acceptance for ticketing in Amadeus and Apollo GDS systems.

APG Canada Director Karl Müller points out “Azul is Brazil’s fastest growing airline with more than 900 daily flights and will increase international flights to the U.S. (FLL and MCO).

“This new commission policy is the result of agency loyalty,” said Karl Müller. “They see Azul gives clients access to new destinations in Brazil not offered by other local carriers. Azul has been awarded ‘Best Brazilian Airline’ status, in addition to ‘Best Low-Cost Airline of Latin America’ recognition.”
