TORONTO — Azores Airlines has announced new nonstop and direct flights from Toronto to Porto for the coming months.
New weekly direct service from Toronto to Porto (same aircraft with a technical stop in Ponta Delgada) will start Nov. 2, 2023 and run through May 31, 2024.
Flight S4 372 will depart Toronto at 9:05 p.m., arriving in Porto the next day at 11:50 a.m., every Thursday. On the return, flight S4 371 will depart Porto at 12:40 p.m., arriving at 7:50 p.m., every Friday
For summer 2024 (June – September), Azores Airlines will offer weekly, nonstop flights from Toronto to Porto.
Effective June 1, 2024 through Sept. 28, 2024, flight S4 372 will depart Toronto at 11:05 a.m., arriving in Porto at 11:50 p.m., every Friday. Coming back, flight S4 371 will leave Porto at 6 a.m., arriving in Toronto at 9:35 a.m., every Saturday
The airline will also increase direct flights between Porto and the Azores (Terceira and São Miguel Islands) with the offer of 30 weekly flights, representing an increase of 24% compared to the same period in 2022.
Azores Airlines is the only carrier to operate nonstop services from Toronto and Montreal to the Azores. Connections across North America are available with codeshare partner WestJet Airlines and interline partner Porter Airlines. The long-haul fleet includes young, modern, fuel-efficient Airbus A321neo and A321neoLR aircraft with two cabins (economy and Executive class). Plus, all fares from Canada permit free stopovers in the Azores for up to seven days.
