MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations has added Avalon Waterways to its river cruise product lineup.
ACV’s packages include Avalon’s popular Europe itineraries sailing on the Seine, Rhone, Soane, Rhine and Danube waterways. The river cruises align with Air Canada’s and Air Canada Rouge’s new flights into Europe including Prague and Budapest, and complements the airlines’ existing service to Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Zurich.
“Our partnership with Avalon, along with the launch of our new service into destinations such as Prague and Budapest will strengthen ACV’s cruise product and give our travel agents and their clients more options for leisure travel,” said Luigi Iannello, Senior Director, Strategy and Business Development, Air Canada Vacations.
Avalon Waterways’ river cruises include shore excursions with local guides, beer and wine with every dinner (for sailings in 2017, beer and wine will be included with lunches as well), WiFi, a choice of dining options and onboard activities and Avalon’s Panorama Suites which feature wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling sliding-glass windows.
