TORONTO — Tourism Australia has relaunched its award-winning Aussie Specialist Program as it readies to welcome back visitors to its sunny shores.

Taking no more than 90 minutes, the online platform is designed to provide international travel sellers with the knowledge and skills to promote and sell Australia as a world-class destination. Now featuring a new look and feel, the program boasts greater personalization, faster qualifying times, and shorter, interactive training modules.

“We know your time is precious and you juggle many different priorities, so we made our program as simple and hassle-free as possible,” says Tourism Australia. “We have made it easier for travel sellers to gain the skills needed to better promote and sell Australian vacations. You can now become a certified Aussie Specialist in just 90 minutes!”

Within the program, Tourism Australia has also launched a Rewards Store, which enables agents to earn points for completing web-based training and instructor-led sessions. Points can be redeemed for items such as plush koalas, Aussie sunglasses and much more.

Agents who become a certified Aussie Specialist by Dec. 31, 2021 will be entered for a chance to win a $250 gift card.
