TORONTO — TICO has launched recruitment for its Consumer Advisory Council.
The CAC will provide guidance and advice to TICO regarding Ontario’s travel consumer protection laws from a consumer’s perspective.
Says TICO in a statement: “In addition to recruiting consumer members, there are up to three positions available for industry members whose role is focused on the consumer perspective. For example, this could include individuals who oversee customer experience, customer service, complaints or related functions within a travel agency or tour operator.”

TICO encourages industry professionals who know of a consumer who would be a good fit for this council, to share the CAC application information with them. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.
The deadline for applications for the CAC is Friday, Feb. 23 at 4 p.m.
