TORONTO — Sunwing is introducing new weekly flight service from Montreal to Antigua for the first time this summer.
The new service will launch May 4 and run until October 26.
“The inclusion of flights from Montreal to Antigua for the first time during the winter has been very well received, so we were keen to extend that service for the coming summer season,” says Executive Vice President of Sunwing Travel Group in Quebec, Sam Char. “The introduction of this new route will offer Montreal residents even more options to travel this summer from their local airport.”
The new flights mean Montrealers can choose from 11 different destinations this summer with Sunwing, including destinations in Jamaica, Cuba, Mexico and the D.R.
Philippe Rainville, President and CEO of Aéroports de Montréal, says: “The addition of these flights this summer demonstrates the impressive scope and variety of Montréal-Trudeau’s air service. Sun destinations are very popular among Montrealers and are no longer only being sought after during the long winter months. Thanks to Sunwing, travellers will now be able to enjoy the sun, the ocean and all the wonderful things Antigua has to offer all year long.”
Sunwing is featuring Antigua as its destination of the month in April, with savings worth up to 40% off vacation packages to top-rated resorts in Antigua for summer departures.
Popular resorts featured in the promotion include Starfish Jolly Beach Resort with its program of land and water sports together with a complimentary kids club. There’s also The Verandah Resort and Spa offering spacious villa-style accommodations, three swimming pools (including the largest freshwater pool in Antigua), varied water sports and dining options.
