TORONTO — VoX International and Total Public Relations have teamed up to provide PR support for the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau in Canada.

The new collaborative partnership will see Andrew Ricketts of Total PR rejoin the VoX International team. He will be responsible for executing the public relations strategy for the destination, which recently unveiled a fresh new look and tagline: Fort Myers’ Islands, Beaches and Neighborhoods.

The new name comes with the launch of VisitFortMyers.com and a revamped Visitor Guide. Five key pillars serve as the basis of the rebranding: change of pace, commitment to nature, connection to water, sense of community, and an active lifestyle. Fort Myers and its surrounding areas in Le County, Florida include Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel & Captiva islands, Boca Grande & Outer Islands, Pine Island, Matlacha, Cape Coral, North Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Estero, Alva, Buckingham and Lehigh Acres.

“This partnership with VoX has been in the making for some time. It’s a full-circle moment and a celebration all on its own,” said Ricketts. “We take pride in partnering with organizations like VoX that share our passion for travel.
