TORONTO — ALBATours’ 2015 Europe & the Mediterranean brochure features the return of its comprehensive Italy program, for which the brand is so well known, along with the introduction of touring options in Ireland, Portugal, Greece, Turkey and Israel.

The first of a series of three new brochures for the brand – the other two being Cruise Collection 2015 and Southern Hemisphere 2015, which will be unveiled in the coming weeks – this year’s Europe & the Mediterranean brochure highlights a comprehensive overall program that offers everything from fully escorted tours and flexible short stays, to Greek island cruising, long stay holidays and various themed options, including a ‘Christian Europe’ tour that travels to spiritual sites in Portugal, Spain, France and Italy.

In Italy, popular tours including the 10-day ‘Artistic Italy’ tour, 11-day ‘Best of Italy’ tour and 15-day ‘Grand Tour of Italy’ tour are all back for 2015. There is also a new 10-day ‘Wine & Dine in Tuscany & Umbria’ tour that includes six guided wine tasting sessions and a cooking lesson as it travels through the cities and countryside of these two regions, as well as a new eight-day ‘Food Lover’s Tour of Sicily’.

In Ireland, ALBATours is featuring three escorted tours that range in length from seven to 12 days and visit some of the Emerald Isle’s most memorable sites. While in Portugal, travellers can take advantage of a new long-stay program in the Algarve, or set out on ALBATours’ new 15-day tour of ‘Christian Europe’.

ALBATours’ Greece program offers a selection of mainland coach tours and island-hopping cruises in partnership with Celestyal Cruises, and the Turkey program features three 12-day escorted tours.

In Israel, there is an eight-day ‘Holyland Tour’ that explores Jerusalem, Bethlehem, the Dead Sea, Nazareth, Haifa and Tel Aviv, among other places; a nine-day ‘Historic Israel’ tour that starts in Tel Aviv and visits Haifa, Golan Heights, Nazareth, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea and more; a 13-day ‘Discover Israel’ tour that incorporates all of the above stops in addition to visits to Timna, Eilat or Petra, Mitzepe Ramon, Sde Boker and more; and finally, an eight-day ‘Bibleland of Israel’ tour that visits Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Beit Shean, Nazareth, Golan Heights, the Sea of Galilee, Acre, Haifa, Caesarea and Tel Aviv.

Pricing featured in all three brochures have two options listed – air-inclusive, with flying aboard Alitalia, Air Canada rouge, EL AL and British Airways, and land-only.

There are also early booking offers featured throughout the brochure, with savings of up to $560 per couple.
