Turkish Airlines launches service from Vancouver

Turkish Airlines expands NDC program

TORONTO — Turkish Airlines has enhanced its TKCONNECT program, giving travel advisors seamless access to its extensive global network and services.

The airline has partnered with leading content aggregators Travelfusion, Verteil, DRCT, Mystifly, Nuua, Nuflights and Theta to enhance its NDC (New Distribution Capability)-compliant program. Through these partnerships, TKCONNECT will empower travel advisors with state-of-the-art tools to create customized itineraries, offer exclusive deals and streamline the booking process.

“These aggregators have a proven track record of delivering top-tier distribution solutions, and their expertise will be instrumental in maximizing the reach and impact of TKCONNECT,” says Ahmet Olmuştur, Turkish Airlines Chief Commercial Officer. “This initiative reflects our shared vision of providing superior travel solutions and exceptional service to our customers. By embracing NDC technology, we are paving the way for a more connected and efficient travel ecosystem.”

In addition to enhancing TKCONNECT, Turkish Airlines acquired two new-generation Airbus A350 aircraft last month. Equipped with the most fuel-efficient engines, the modern wide-body aircraft represent an integral part of the airline’s core long-haul fleet.

Turkish Airlines flies to more countries than any other airline. It recently signed a purchase agreement with Airbus for 355 aircraft, marking one of the largest fleet expansions in the coming years.
