Air France unveils redesigned La Première Cabin

PARIS — Air France is redefining luxury air travel with the introduction of its redesigned La Première cabin, offering an exclusive and refined experience for discerning travellers.

Following the launch of a new ground experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle in 2024, the airline is now elevating its most prestigious cabin with a new design set to debut in spring 2025.

According to Benjamin Smith, President of Air France and CEO of Air France-KLM Group, the launch of La Première marks a major step in the company’s strategic roadmap.

“We continue to invest in state-of-the-art products for our customers at each and every step of their journey, with the aim of positioning Air France at the highest level worldwide. With a new private ground experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and a completely redesigned, larger-than-ever La Première suite onboard, this new experience truly is the highest expression of travel,” said Smith.

The first aircraft to feature the new La Première cabin, named Épernay, will take flight in spring 2025 on the Paris-New York (JFK) route. Additional destinations, including Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda, will be introduced during the summer 2025 season.

Currently, La Première is available on select routes from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Abidjan, Dubai, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, San Francisco, São Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo-Haneda, and Washington.

SPACIOUS AND ELEGANT

The new La Première suite features four private spaces, each spanning nearly 3.5 square metres, providing 25% more space than the current configuration. Available on select Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, these redesigned suites promise an unparalleled level of comfort and privacy.

Each suite is enclosed with a floor-to-ceiling curtain, and side suites include five windows—an exclusive feature of Air France. The centre suites offer a shared travel experience with a full-height, electric sliding partition that can be adjusted for privacy. The interior showcases premium materials such as full-grain leather and plush wool, with a colour palette of elegant greys, rich reds, and metallic champagne accents.

COMFORT AND PERSONALIZATION

Designed over three years, the suite features a fully adaptable layout with a seat and chaise longue that transform into a two-metre-long bed. The embossed leather headrest, ergonomic padding, and intuitive seat controls ensure optimal comfort throughout the journey. A dedicated console and table provide space for dining or working, while a large drawer and an additional storage compartment accommodate carry-on luggage and personal belongings.

Passengers can customize their suite using a wireless touchscreen tablet, adjusting the lighting, seat position, and entertainment preferences with ease. The cabin’s advanced technology includes two 32-inch 4K screens, Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones, noise-cancelling headsets, and multiple power outlets. Free Wi-Fi is available onboard, with an upgraded ultra-high-speed service set to roll out in summer 2025.
