MONTREAL — Air Canada will be offering nonstop flights between Montreal and Edinburgh this summer.
The seasonal route will operate three times per week starting on June 27, and will run until Sept. 7, 2025.
Air Canada confirmed the news to Profession Voyages, Travelweek Group’s French-language travel trade news source.
Departures from Montreal will take place on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:50 p.m., arriving in Edinburgh at 9:15 a.m. the following day. The return flight will leave the Scottish capital at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, landing in Montreal at 1:35 p.m. All times are local.
This new service will complement the airline’s existing seasonal route between Edinburgh and Toronto, which operates up to seven times per week. It will also coincide with the upcoming reinstatement of the Ottawa-Heathrow route, which had been suspended due to the pandemic.
