MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations’s Sun product collection has switched to the Softvoyage TTS reservation system, which standardizes the company’s content, increases its distribution and maximizes visibility to the travel trade.
Products will be widely available and include more durations, connections, package options and streamlined pricing, making it easier for travel agents to locate and sell ACV. This change will be reflected in all distribution channels, including Sirev, Galileo Vacations, Amadeus Tours and Sabre Vacations.
Destinations impacted by the TTS system change include Sun destinations (Mexico, the Caribbean, Las Vegas, Florida and Hawaii), as well as select European destinations.
The new system will apply to departures occurring on and after Nov. 1, 2016.
The switch will also lead to a change in ACV’s Invoice layout and booking reference numbers. For departures occurring prior to Nov. 1, the invoice layout will remain as is.
