MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations is celebrating the return of its Travel Advisory Board.
On June 19, the tour operator brought together travel partners from across the country to reconnect, share insights and gather feedback. The gathering, the first since the pandemic, included representatives from chains, consortia and independent agencies.
“It’s always inspiring when we meet with our travel industry peers,” said Erminia Gallina, Director of Sales at Air Canada Vacations. “The goal of our Travel Advisory Board is to enhance services and facilitate travel planning for our trade partners and their customers. With the diverse perspectives and valuable feedback shared, we are making good progress towards that goal. It’s rewarding to incorporate the group’s innovative ideas into our company’s vision for the future, and our partners appreciated the opportunity to be heard.”
Air Canada Vacations’ Travel Advisory Board members include the following advisors: David Herson; Emma Madsen; Frances Gertsch; Jennifer Bradley; Jodi Wickstrom; Karen Marsh; Karo-Lyn Fournier; Nathalie Gélinas; Pamela deHaan; Rosie DiMartino; and Shannon Smith.
Air Canada Vacations first launched its Travel Advisory Board back in 2016, which at the time included up to 30 members across the country who were brought on to work directly with senior management on issues impacting the travel advisor community. The Board met monthly for the first six months before moving into quarterly sessions.
