Air Canada’s new Dulles service offers more nonstop options to Virginia

TORONTO — Virginia Tourism representatives were on hand yesterday at a special ribbon cutting ceremony to promote the inaugural flight of Air Canada’s new year-round nonstop service from Toronto to Washington Dulles.

Air Canada now flies three times daily service from Toronto to the popular Northern Virginia destination. The new route is operated by Air Canada Express partner Air Georgian on a 50-seater aircraft. All flights provide for Aeroplan accumulation and redemption, Star Alliance reciprocal benefits and, for eligible customers, priority check-in, Maple Leaf Lounge access at Air Canada hubs, priority boarding and other benefits.

“Canadian travellers are increasingly finding that connecting through gateways across Canada on Air Canada is the most convenient way to fly to and from the U.S. This new route will make it easier for travellers to explore Virginia’s award winning wineries, craft breweries, beautiful landscape from the Blue Ridge Parkway, world class golf courses and Virginia’s Cultural region, all accessible within a 20 minute drive from the Washington-Dulles airport,” said Sana Keller, Canadian Representative for Virginia Tourism.
