MONTREAL — Air Canada’s new nonstop service between Montreal and San Juan, Puerto Rico offers weekly Saturday flights as part of a seasonal service schedule operating for winter 2016-2017.
Flight AC958 departs Montreal at 8 a.m. and arrives at San Juan’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport at 2 p.m. On the return, flight AC959 departs San Juan at 2:45 p.m., arriving back in Montreal at 6:59 p.m.
“This new route from Montreal will make it easier for customers to travel to Puerto Rico from eastern Canada and complements our existing twice-weekly services between Toronto and San Juan,” said Benjamin Smith, President, Passenger Airlines at Air Canada. “It also strengthens Air Canada’s Montreal hub, which is playing a significant strategic role in our ongoing global expansion.”
Air Canada’s Montreal capacity is up nearly 20% over the last two years and in the past year alone the carrier has launched or announced 13 new destinations from the city, including Shanghai, Algiers, Lyon, and Marseille.
The Montreal-San Juan flights are operating with a 146-seat Airbus A320 with 14 Business Class seats and 132 seats in Economy Class.
Flights are timed for connections through Air Canada’s international network and provide for Aeroplan accumulation and redemption and, for eligible customers, priority check-in, Maple Leaf Lounge access in Montreal, priority boarding and other benefits.
