CALGARY — Air Canada has launched new nonstop service from Calgary to Terrace in northwestern B.C.
According to Benjamin Smith, President, Passenger Airlines, “Air Canada continues to strategically add new services to meet demand and our new, nonstop flights connecting two resource and energy centres saves time and offers convenience to the Calgary and Terrace/Kitimat business markets”.
Daily Air Canada Express flights between Calgary and Terrace are operated by Jazz Aviation LP with 50-seat Bombardier CRJ jets.
New routes launched to date this year in addition to Calgary-Terrace include: Toronto-Atlantic City, Toronto-Austin, Montreal-Venice, Vancouver-Osaka, Vancouver-Comox, Calgary-Halifax and Calgary-Nanaimo. Upcoming new routes still to launch include: Toronto-Dubai, Toronto-Delhi, Toronto-Amsterdam, Toronto-Abbotsford and Montreal-Mexico City.
