TORONTO — Air Canada and Air Canada Vacations, Transat, WestJet and Sunwing have all come out with Black Friday sales, with savings across the board, from airfares to cruises to resort packages.
Air Canada Vacations’ deals include up to 50% off all-inclusive packages to Mexico and the Caribbean, up to $700 per couple off Europe, up to 25% off U.S. getaways and up to $200 per couple off cruise bookings.
ACV’s sale kicks off today and runs through Nov. 26, for travel by April 30. ACV’s cruise discount applies only to non-discounted fares with Carnival, for travel Jan. 1 – March 31.
With Air Canada’s Black Friday promotion meanwhile, ‘the world is on sale’, with seat sale fares to many of Air Canada’s 200+ destinations, for booking by Nov. 26.
Sample one-way fares out of Toronto include $262 to Vancouver and $137 to Quebec City, $152 to New York LaGuardia and $213 to Fort Lauderdale.
To international gateways, sample roundtrip fares include $669 to London Heathrow, $722 to Paris and $651 to Dublin.
Transat launched its Black Friday Week sale today with deals worth up to 50% off winter vacation packages, booked by Nov. 26.
Week-long vacation deals out of Toronto include $989 per person to Melia Peninsula Varadero (Jan. 5) and $849 per person to Bravo Club Caracol in Santa Lucia, Cuba (Jan. 11).
Transat also has Europe packages on sale, to London for $989 with six days at the three-star Royal National (Jan. 21), and to Lisbon for $1,219 with eight days at the four-star Hotel Mundial (Jan. 27). European tours, European cruises and Caribbean cruises have also been discounted for Black Friday Week. The travel window is Dec. 1, 2017 to April 30, 2018.
WestJet’s Black Friday sale, on now through Nov. 24 for travel Nov. 29 – April 28, applies to destinations in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe. Featured one-way sale fares out of Toronto include $124 to Montreal and $223 to Victoria, $175 to New York (JFK) and $210 to Fort Myers and $232 to London Gatwick.
WestJet Vacations’ Black Friday sale, also bookable by Nov. 24 for travel Nov. 22 – April 30, offers discounted vacation packages to Mexico, the Caribbean and the U.S. Sample deals include reduced rates at Hawaii’s Aston Kaanapali Shores, reduced rates plus $300 resort credit at Krystal Grand Los Cabos and savings worth up to $375 per room at Couples Tower Isle.
Meanwhile from Travelweek.ca’s lead story on Nov. 20, Sunwing is getting a jump on Black Friday with a new sale available all this week, offering up to 50% off select all-inclusive packages. Travel agents will be kept informed of promotions through updates on SunwingAgents.ca as well as through flyers, says the company.
Clients can book the sale by midnight on Nov. 26, or while deals last. The discounts apply to many of the tour operator’s 800+ resorts across Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.
