TORONTO — As it continues to celebrate The Year of the Travel Agent, Avalon Waterways is offering agent discounts on a host of European itineraries.

The company is offering 70% off 13 sailings including the eight-day Paris to Normandy’s Landing Beaches and the 15-day Magnificent Europe. Several of these sailings are themed departures including a European History & Politics cruise (Magnificent Europe departing July 23) and Festive Season Cruises visiting many Christmas markets (Romantic Rhine departing Dec. 14 and Magnificent Europe departing Dec. 21).

There are also discounts of 60% offered on 10 sailings departing between May and November, including the eight-day Taste of the Danube which incorporates two nights in Vienna and Budapest with a three-day cruise in between.

The discounts apply to one agent plus one travelling companion in any category of accommodation (except Royal and Avalon Suites) and do not include airfare, though Avalon will provide complimentary airport transfers on day of arrival and departure.
