TORONTO — Aeroplan has added Gulf Air to its growing roster of 40+ airline partners.
Gulf Air is the eighth new airline to join the Aeroplan program since June 2020.
The international carrier serves 55 cities in 30 countries with a modern fleet consisting of the A320 family and the 787 Dreamliner. It’s the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its boutique approach offers a premium experience, particularly in Falcon Gold Business Class, says Aeroplan.
Aeroplan is now the only frequent flyer program in North America offering the opportunity to earn and redeem on Gulf Air flights.
Members can earn Aeroplan points based on distance flown on all scheduled flights operated by Gulf Air.
When it comes to Aeroplan Flight Rewards on Gulf Air flights, flights will be priced based on Aeroplan’s pricing for partner airlines. Flights can be combined with flights operated by Air Canada and its other international airline partners. And the partner booking fee will apply for flight rewards which include travel on Gulf Air.
Aeroplan also notes that Gulf Air flights are eligible for redemption in Business and Economy classes.
