MONTREAL — At 240 pages and featuring 122 vacation packages, Air Canada Vacations’ highly anticipated ‘Europe Your Way’ brochure offers “the most complete offer in the market”.
According to the tour operator, 66 of the 122 packages are brand new, plus there are 50 cruises for clients to choose from. Destinations include Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Iceland and Central Europe, all of which are segmented into various categories: Fly & Drive Vacations; Fly & Rail Vacations; Guided Rail Tours; Urban Getaways; Design Your Own Urban Getaways; Guided Tours; Island Hopping; Amalfi Coast Escapes; French Riviera Escapes; Seaside Escapes; Family Getaways; Journeys at Sea (Cruises); and River Cruising.
Perhaps the most notable addition to its destination lineup, however, is Croatia, which ACV is offering for the first time from Toronto. Other new routes include: Toronto-Porto; Montreal-Lisbon; Montreal-Dublin; Toronto-Shannon; and Toronto-Bucharest.

To entice clients to book early, ACV is offering savings of $700 per couple when booking Europe packages by Jan. 31, 2018 and paying a reduced deposit of $98.
For agents, the tour operator is offering up to 15% commission on all Europe tours, including Trafalgar and Contiki. Book between Dec. 11, 2017 and Jan. 31, 2018 for travel between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2018.
On cruises, clients who book a Flight & Cruise package to Europe will save $200 per couple when booking between Dec. 1, 2017 and April 30, 2018, for travel between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2018. Applicable cruise lines include: Azamara Club Cruises; Carnival Cruises; Celebrity Cruises; Costa Cruises; Disney Cruise Line; Holland America Line; Norwegian Cruise Line; Princess Cruises; and Royal Caribbean International.
For groups, several perks are available in 2018. Groups of 10 people (including children) will enjoy group advantages in all European destinations, including Greece, Italy and Spain. Advantages include free flight and stay for the 20th passenger, and deposits starting at $100 per person, plus free standard seat selection and group block seat selection on flights. ACV also offers the services of a dedicated coordinator to help assist with group travel in Europe.
Those who book and pay for a Trafalgar package by Jan. 11 will save up to $1,400 per couple, and will also receive free standard seat selection and a $50 Optional Experience credit voucher per person.
Clients who book and pay for a Contiki package before Feb. 21 will save up to $650 per person and will also receive free standard seat selection and a $50 optional Free Time Add-On credit voucher per person.
According to ACV, the new partnership with Trafalgar and Contiki will be one of the main pillars of the 2018 Europe brochure. Travellers can now choose between 16 Trafalgar Guided Vacations and five Contiki Guided Trips. They will enjoy such insider experiences as an authentic meal with the Calistri family at their ‘borgo’ in Limonaia, Italy, as well as Contiki free-time add-ons like bike tours in Barcelona and cruises in Capri. Trafalgar and Contiki packages are bundled to include flights on Air Canada or Air Canada Rouge.
Finally, clients can travel with peace of mind with ACV’s new CareFree plan for Europe and cruises, available at a special introductory rate of $59 until April 30. The plan includes free seat selection, the year-round Price Drop Guarantee, and a $50 waiver on administrative change fees.
