MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations has issued a travel alert for Montreal-Trudeau airport, which has reported major road closures in the Turcot interchange.
In an official statement, ACV warned of “unprecedented” road closures in the area of Montreal’s Turcot interchange from the evening of Nov. 8 into the morning of Nov. 13. Closures will affect both Highway 15 and Highway 20.
For customers flying from Montreal-Trudeau during this period, ACV suggests allowing for extra time to get to the airport, check-in and go through the security screening process before flights.
As seen on the airport’s website, passengers can take advantage of free shuttles that are being made available throughout this period between Dorval train station and the airport. They can also opt for Exo commuter train or Montreal’s public transit services (STM).
Many accommodation options are also available near the airport, including the in-terminal Marriott Hotel.
