TORONTO — At 412 pages, Air Canada Vacations’ new Sun brochure is the company’s largest one to date, featuring over 600 three- to five-star hotels and resorts and over 40 destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean.

A total of 80 properties featured in the brochure are brand new to the tour operator. More than half of the properties featured in the brochure participate in the Privileges Program. With Privileges, Air Canada Vacations offers five exclusive vacation essentials: preferred room location; early check-in/late checkout; free Wi-Fi or Internet at resort; three guaranteed à la carte dinners at all-inclusive resorts; and Aeroplan Miles.

New to the brochure is the Spotlight Collection, a selection of the company’s most popular resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. Hotels included in the collection offer guests a variety of added amenities, such as à la carte dining and other VIP services. Aeroplan members booking the Spotlight Collection will also benefit from an additional 4,000 Bonus Aeroplan Miles per couple.

In addition, two new routes have been announced as part of the 2016 winter flight schedule. Montreal (YUL) to Puerto Vallarta (PVR) will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday onboard Air Canada Rouge. Halifax (YHZ) to Puerto Plata (POP) will operate on Friday onboard Air Canada. The 2016 winter flight schedule features service to Mexico and the Caribbean from all of Air Canada Vacations’ major gateways, including Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver.

Early planners who book their 2016/2017 winter sun escape by Aug. 31, 2016 can save up to $800 ($250 per adult, and $150 per child ages 2-12) on travel between Nov. 1, 2016 and April 30, 2017. If clients need more time, they can save $600 when booking by Sept. 31, 2016 and $500 by Oct. 31, 2016.

Also, don’t forget about Air Canada Vacations’ Price Drop Guarantee. If the price drops on any winter travel packages booked by Oct. 31, 2016, ACV will refund travellers the difference of up to $800 cash back per couple.

Other incentives include a Reduced Deposit for clients of only $100 (down from $250) on all ACV winter sun packages booked by July 31, 2016. Plus, new for 2016, ACV has reduced its group count from 10 to eight passengers, which means only eight people (including kids aged two and up) benefit from exclusive group travel offers.
