MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations is welcoming one new team member and saying goodbye to another.

Marco Gagnon has been appointed General Manager, Sales – Eastern Canada, effective since May 23, 2022. In his new role, he is responsible for the implementation of ACV’s sales strategy in the Quebec and Atlantic markets, oversee the Area Sales Managers and engage travel agent partners on company products. Under his leadership, the Eastern Canada Sales team consists of Jean-Luc Tremblay, Judy Munden and Helena Silva.

Gagnon takes over the reins from Guy Marchand, who has elected to retire at the end of June.

“Throughout Marco’s time as an Area Sales Manager and Groups Supervisor at Air Canada Vacations, he has been integral at forging relationships with key players in our industry and supporting suppliers and trade partners,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President at Air Canada Vacations. “We’d like to congratulate Marco on his new role and wish Guy all the best in his retirement.”
