TORONTO — With the new year just around the corner, ACTA is announcing the dates for its travel industry summits for 2023.
The summits will take place in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal on these dates …
- Toronto – September 14
- Vancouver – September 21
- Montreal – September 27
ACTA President Wendy Paradis says that after very successful summit events in 2022, ACTA is asking all industry members to update their calendars and plan to attend next year’s editions. The full day events include general assembly discussions, breakouts, trade shows and networking receptions. Premier sponsors are once again Air Canada and Manulife.
“The ACTA summit is designed to benefit all of our members including front-line travel agents, independent contractors, senior leaders, consortia groups, and host agencies,” says Paradis. “This year’s Summits were so well received, we expect next year’s to be in high demand.”
ACTA GOLF TOURNAMENT & RIVER CRUISE SUMMIT
Paradis adds that golfers are encouraged to also save the date for ACTA’s Advocacy Fundraiser Ontario Golf Tournament, taking place at the Royal Ontario Golf Club in Milton, ON on July 13, 2023.
Not only that, but next year’s ACTA calendar also includes the inaugural 2023 River Cruise Summit, in partnership with Avalon Waterways. The October 2023 ‘Romantic Rhine’ sailing will wind its way from Amsterdam to Basel onboard Avalon Vista, with 134 travel advisors onboard taking part in hands-on learning and educational experiences.
