TORONTO — Insight Vacations’ 2019 Europe and Britain collection has no fewer than 96 itineraries including three brand new trips to Scandinavia and Greece.
The travel company has also further enhanced several itineraries including: the Jordan Experience with a visit to the Iraq Al-Amir Women’s Cooperative, an Insight Cares and TreadRight project; Israel Discovery with a new Dine-at-Home lunch experience; and Easy Pace Malta with visits to Valetta and Mdina.
Insight Vacations has also created more selling and groups booking opportunities for travel advisors which are only available to book for 2019, including commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the World War II Normandy D-Day landings. Guests can explore these sites by booking either the Normandy, Brittany & the Loire Valley or French Heritage guided journeys.
“As the Europe Specialists for the past 40 years, we highly value our loyal travel advisors and our goal is to help make 2019 their best booking year ever with our ‘Insight Difference’ by offering clients incredible activities, meaningful interactions and the best value across our 96 European premium guided journeys,” says Brad Ford, President, Insight Vacations.
“We have already seen a significant increase in advance 2019 bookings and we anticipated client demand by highlighting special times to visit certain destinations such as festivals with the locals including the Venice Carnival, Bastille Day, Oktoberfest, Edinburgh Tattoo and Christmas Markets.”
Ford adds that agents can help their clients to “book with complete confidence” by emphasizing the top five reasons to book with Insight Vacations including: more than 70 authentic Insight Experiences; a variety of authentic dining experiences; travelling and staying in style in the most desirable hotel addresses, smaller group camaraderie; and the services of dedicated Travel Directors.
New 2019 Insight Experiences include a Dine-at-Home dinner with the Willoughby family at historic Birdsall House, a special visit to Castel Gandolfo to explore the splendid gardens of the Pope’s summer palace, and savour a Farm-to-Table dinner paired with local wines in Bordeaux.
To help agents close more sales effectively Insight Vacations is also offering 10% savings with its Early Payment Discount for clients who book and pay in full by Jan. 31, 2019.
Ford notes there will be no additional Early Payment Discount after this date, so agents must advise and highly encourage their clients to book as early as possible for the biggest choice of trips and available departure dates.
As a further booking incentive for clients, past guests can receive an additional 5% savings until Oct. 31, 2018.
One of the new trips, the 10-day Northern Lights of Scandinavia starts in Helsinki, then clients board a flight to Ivalo for an opportunity to see the Aurora Borealis through their hotel room’s glass ceiling at the Aurora Village, located near Urho Kekkonen National Park. Then it’s on to Norway, where clients will travel to Nordcapp, a legendary place to witness the Northern Lights. From there it’s on to Alta to see the fjords and enjoy the local ice bar.
