MONTREAL — ACV is offering 5% bonus commission when agents book any cruise-only or cruise package using ACV’s Revelex Power Agent 5.0 cruise booking engine.

ACV says phase one of the new upgrade for its Revelex Power Agent 5.0 platform is now complete.

Bookings for the bonus commission promotion are must be booked Aug. 28 – Sept. 18, 2019 for travel Aug. 28, 2019 – Dec. 31, 2020. The 5% bonus commission is applicable on the cruise portion only and certain conditions apply.

Nino Montagnese, ACV’s Managing Director says phase one of Revelex Power Agent 5.0 “is an important milestone” for the tour operator.

“The first phase of implementation focuses on the cruise component of the package. The second phase, coming later in 2019, will allow agents to dynamically book air and cruise together,” he said.

Montagnese adds that the system is user-friendly, simple, and fast and allows agents to search for multiple cruise lines at one time. He says users will see a larger and easier to read booking screen. Pop-up reminders outline terms and conditions related to rate codes. The new view also includes a right-margin display of the booking steps, and upgrade/downgrade selection buttons.

With ACV’s new Cruise Promise feature, Lowest Airfare, if a lower-priced flight is found with Air Canada or Air Canada Rouge, ACV will pay the entire cost of the flight for all passengers on the cruise booking. No deposit is required on flights when flight and cruise are booked together up to 30 days before departure. Plus, all flights are 100% refundable, and one name change is permitted up to 30 days prior to travel. Clients can also earn Aeroplan Miles.
