TORONTO — Sunwing is kicking off the holiday season with the launch of a month-long promotion with RIU Hotels & Resorts, offering agents 4X STAR points (that convert to cash) and 4X RIU RPC (Riu Partner Club) points on all new bookings made by Dec. 31, 2018 to select RIU properties.

The promotion applies to departures Dec. 23, 2018 – April 30, 2019, for bookings made during the month of December,

Plus, each time an agent makes a booking with a participating resort, their name will be entered into a weekly contest for a chance to win an all-inclusive vacation for two to a select resort included in the promotion. The more bookings agents make, the more chances they have to win.

Hotels participating in this promotion include the brand new Riu Palace Costa Mujeres, Riu Sante Fe which has recently added a waterpark and the recently renovated Riu Palace Tropical Bay along with other favourites such as Riu Yucatan, Riu Cancun, Riu Bambu, Riu Reggae and Riu Guanacaste.

When travellers book their RIU vacation package with Sunwing, they get a host of RIU-topia features including welcome cocktails, in-room liquor dispensers, unlimited reservation-free dining at specialty restaurants daily restocked mini bar and more.

Clients can also get perks when they book their RIU vacation package with their travel agent throughout the month of December, including complimentary room upgrades, spa discounts and discounts on group bookings.

Sunwing says groups booking by Dec. 31, 2018 for travel between December 23, 2018 and April 30, 2019 can take advantage of special group pricing and incentives such as a $100 excursion credit per couple. The 11th adult travels free on group bookings at Riu Sante Fe, Riu Cancun, Riu Bambu, Riu Reggae, Riu Guanacaste and Riu Palace Costa Mujeres. For group bookings at Riu Yucatan, and Riu Palace Tropical Bay the 16th adult travels free.
