NEW YORK — If you have clients heading to New York City, tell them that Broadway Week will return this winter with 2-for-1 theatre tickets to 26 Broadway shows – more than any previous iteration of the campaign.
The promotion will run from Jan. 21 through Feb. 6, and theatregoers can take advantage of this savings opportunity by purchasing 2-for-1 tickets starting on Jan. 6 at nycgo.com/broadwayweek.
“Whether theatregoers are seeing a new musical or an old classic, going to a Broadway show is an iconic New York City experience,” said George Fertitta, CEO of NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization.
“We encourage New Yorkers and visitors as well as football fans in town for Super Bowl XLVIII to take advantage of the 2-for-1 Broadway Week promotion and enjoy a wonderful theatrical performance.”
Through NYC & Company’s Broadway Week promotion, more than 350,000 2-for-1 theatre tickets have been sold, generating over $22 million in revenue since the semi-annual campaign was launched in January 2011.
