LONDON, ON — Nexion Travel Group-Canada is celebrating the success of its virtual ‘Canada Days,’ which welcomed over 100 travel advisors and 20 suppliers and staff.
Held on Nov. 27 and Nov. 28, 2023, each half-day event, available exclusively to Nexion Travel Group’s Canadian members, was planned to help advisors end their year with deeper connections to suppliers and other members as well as gain new skills they can immediately use in their business.
“Having symposiums specifically related to selling travel in Canada is important to our members,” said Mike Foster, President of Nexion Travel Group-Canada. “And doing it virtually means we can reach our entire membership which stretches across the country. As we head toward the end of the year, it’s a great time for members to connect with our partners and brush up on their hard and soft skills. We still have our popular in-person Regional meetings of course, but the virtual space allows us to reach more members than ever before.”
During the events, a variety of land, sea, air and insurance suppliers provided updates on their latest offerings. Sessions also touched on a variety of topics, including Advertising Compliance, Following the Money Cycle, How to Brand Your Niche, How to Use AI to Help Run Your Business, and How To Resolve Problems.
