Account Manager Opportunity

VoX International Inc., a leading destination marketing firm, provides effective sales, marketing and public relation solutions to Tourism and Hospitality clients.

We are looking for a dynamic, independent Account Manager

The position is based in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the travel trade activities of designated VoX clients within the Canadian market.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of trade and marketing plan for the Canadian market
  • Serve as point contact and relationship management of client portfolio
  • Management of marketing and administration budgets
  • Market observation, recognition of trends and integration of activities
  • Develop Trade activities including planning, organization and escorting of fam trips, attend
    trade/consumer shows & travel trade events
  • Develop trade relationships and co-op marketing programs with partner airlines, tour
    operators, OTA’s and retail travel agency groups
  • Administrative duties including reporting
  • Product training

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years proven travel industry experience preferably in a account manager role
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Established contacts with major Canadian airlines, tour operators and retail agency groups
  • Outstanding public speaking, presentation and training skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English; French and Spanish an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • The ability to travel and work flexible hours
  • Use of a vehicle
  • Have a passion for the industry
