Position Details

Our Travel group tour operator division (Extraordinary Explorations) is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join the team on a 12 month contract as a Travel Groups Supervisor.

What you will do:

Update, communicate and monitor compliance with Department Policies and Procedures
Seek out training and specialization on group products for the team
Extraordinary Explorations Product Development
Strategically and Operationally contribute to the growth of the Extraordinary Explorations program
Plays a lead role in the creative process of the semi-annual Extraordinary Explorations brochure
Development and welfare of the Extraordinary Explorations team
Prepare and facilitate performance reviews, including goal setting for the team
Assist in the facilitation and planning of exclusive or unique travel products and services
Implement and monitor the Extraordinary Explorations product objectives, plans and budgets
Managing the budget for the Extraordinary Explorations area
Monitor agreed sales, revenue and cost projections

Who you are:

Minimum of 10 years in travel, preferably in Groups Travel
5 Years leadership experience
Diploma in Travel & Tourism or related field
Strong group building and destination/product knowledge
Strong knowledge of cruise group process
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
Strong problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills
Strong relationship building skills
The role may include some out of province and/or out of country travel, willingness to travel is an asset
