This car-loving beach town may be best known for its famous speedway, but Daytona Beach is hoping to show why the moniker “Festival Capital of Florida” will become what every visitor remembers.
With temperatures in the breezy mid 20s during Fall and Winter, Daytona Beach is best known for its 26 mile stretch of sand, which attracts a wide variety of characters, including this lady in her beach buggy.
October is a perfect example of the busy town offerings with numerous festivals attracting locals, residents from across central Florida and numerous out of state visitors. (Canada makes up six per cent of annual visitors to Daytona Beach.)
