Exodus Adventure Travels is hitting the ground running in 2025, with new global adventures, FAM trips, tech innovations and strengthened ties to travel agents. In this week’s Take 5, we sit down with Sasha Andrews, Industry Sales Director for Exodus in North America, to discuss the company’s plans for the new year and how it will set itself apart from other adventure outfitters.
1.It’s a brand new year! What lessons learned in 2024 will Exodus be applying in 2025 to make this year even better?
“2024 taught us that the active travel space is thriving, with more travellers seeking immersive cultural experiences and adventures. We also saw the value of strong agency partnerships. In 2025, our experienced BDM and agency support team is excited to build on this momentum, connecting with agents in person to make this year even better.”
2.What are you most excited about for 2025? Any new products or destinations that you can share with us now?
“In 2025, we’re most excited about expanding the Exodus Adventure Travels brand across Canada and the United States, where travel advisors and their clients have shown incredible enthusiasm for our active travel offerings. We’re seeing continued strong interest in Europe, particularly for hiking and biking trips in destinations like Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Greece and the Baltics.
“This year, we’re also growing our portfolio in the Americas, with standout experiences like our Ecuador and Galapagos trip and glamping on the Inca Trail in Peru. Additionally, we’re introducing new Premium Adventures in Morocco, Egypt, Vietnam, and Southern India, offering even more ways to explore in style.
“Finally, we’re proud to roll out our Thriving Nature, Thriving People plan, furthering our commitment to sustainable and meaningful travel. It’s shaping up to be an exciting year!”
3.The adventure travel space is highly competitive. How will Exodus set itself apart from the competition this year?
“In the competitive adventure travel space, Exodus stands out by delivering exceptional experiences through our ‘More Extraordinary with Exodus’ campaign. This initiative highlights our expert guides, meticulously planned trips and incredible destinations, ensuring every journey is truly unforgettable.
“Additionally, we’re proud to celebrate our first anniversary as a certified B Corp, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability, responsible travel and making a positive impact on the world. These values, combined with our dedication to quality and innovation, set us apart in 2025.”
4.How do you plan on working with and/or supporting travel agents in 2025?
“In 2025, we’re committed to supporting travel agents with initiatives designed to strengthen our partnerships and enhance their success. We’re excited to offer agent FAM trips, providing firsthand experiences of our trips to better equip agents in sharing our offerings with clients. We’re also investing in new tech innovations to streamline processes and provide better tools for agents. Alongside these efforts, our dedicated agency support team will be there every step of the way, ensuring agents have the resources and assistance they need to thrive.”
5.Are there any new trends you’re noticing for 2025? How is Exodus meeting those trends?
“We’re seeing growing interest in active small group travel, solo trips and private groups, as well as a demand for authentic, less-traveled destinations. Travellers are also seeking companies that prioritize sustainability and communities, aligning with our mission. With strong interest in Europe, Asia, and Africa, Exodus is perfectly positioned to meet these trends with meaningful, immersive adventures.”
