I guess you’d have to live in a cave (and one without Internet at that) for you to not know that the holiday shopping season is here.
No sooner have the pumpkins been whisked away than the jingle of sleigh bells and images of delighted children and lots of snowflakes populate our lives. But it is a great time to thank clients for their business.
It’s not too late to think about a small travel-related gift that would do the trick – a quality baggage tag or passport case are great examples. A simple, classic picture frame might prove to be the perfect way to remember a great trip – one that you booked for them of course! Other ideas include a subscription to a travel magazine to keep travel – and you – always top of mind, or an airport lounge pass. Even a year’s membership in a lounge, for that truly special client.
Timely ideas could include portable power banks or luggage trackers. Available for both iPhones and Android, trackers inform your client where their luggage is at all times, especially when it’s not at the carousel.
Regardless on your gift-giving choices, I recommend sending holiday cards to your clients, especially your best ones. Since sending cards is becoming a rarity, yours will stand out above any electronic holiday greeting. A nice idea is to support a favourite charity by purchasing their greeting cards.
And speaking of charities, that could be another gift idea. There are no shortages of worthy causes to support and you may wish to slip a note in with your card to say that this year you’ve chosen to support a particular charity with a financial gift. You can never strike a wrong note when you are demonstrating kindness.
