The last day of the tour includes a visit to the Citadel of Cairo to visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, built by the founder of modern Egypt, with a perspective of the city skyline. The last group excursion is a visit to the Egyptian Museum, filled with the country’s antiquities from pharaohs and kings including all the treasures of King Tut Ankh Amun.
Despite political changes, visiting Egypt was unforgettable, and with the lack of crowds at every major site, it’s a good time to start planning to see one of the world’s oldest civilizations.
