TORONTO — With more Caribbean destinations reopening for tourism, tour operators launching winter programs and major players introducing COVID-19 insurance coverage, now’s the time to check in with clients to see who is making winter travel plans.
All the need-to-knows will be answered at Travelweek’s upcoming virtual conference, ‘The Future of Travel: Caribbean Comeback’, set for Sept. 30 with keynote speakers, interviews and more. Click here to register: https://forms.gle/
The event looks to build on the strength of Travelweek’s first virtual conference in June, which drew close to 10,000 viewers.
“The timing couldn’t be better for our ‘Caribbean Comeback’ virtual conference,” says Travelweek’s Publisher, Devin Kinasz.
“While this is not a typical year by any means, several major tour operators have sun destination departures ready to go for the fall and winter months, and the COVID-19 travel insurance options are increasing by the week,” says Kinasz.
“Our friends and travel industry partners in the Caribbean are welcoming Canadian travellers back with open arms. Agents will hear all about it at our virtual conference. Plus, of course, there will be prize draws!”
The lineup of keynote speakers for ‘Caribbean Comeback’ includes:
- Virgilio Russi, Managing Director of Sales, International for Air Canada
- Adam Stewart, Deputy Chairman, Sandals Resorts International
- Neil Walters, Secretary General, CTO
- Kenroy Herbert, Chairman, Anguilla Tourism Board
- Samantha Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer, Sunwing
- Karolin Troubetzkoy, Executive Director, Marketing & Operations for Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain in Saint Lucia
