TORONTO — TravelOnly is mourning the loss of its founder and chairman, Patrick Luciani, who unexpectedly passed away on April 26.

His son, Gregory Luciani who also serves as CEO, announced the news on Facebook with a touching tribute to his father.

“He will be fondly remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who made an indelible mark on the travel industry with his passion, energy and love for others,” he writes.

In celebration of Patrick’s life, the Luciani family is asking the travel community to post a photo and/or memory of Patrick on TravelOnly’s Facebook page.

The tributes are pouring in, with Denise Heffron writing, “Such a lovely man and a true pioneer in our business…he will be greatly missed.”

Mark Linton wrote: “Patrick was a true gentleman, family man and pioneer of the travel industry,” while Nicole Bursey added, “The spirit of family was apparent in everything that Patrick touched.”
