MISSISSAUGA — TICO’s Board of Directors has approved a payment from the Travel Industry Compensation Fund to consumers affected by the failure of Adria Airways.

The payment was for $1,772.54, to assist three consumers who did not receive travel services for which they had paid.

The payments were due to the failure of Slovenia’s Adria Airways, which ceased operations on Sept. 30, 2019.
