DUBAI — Coming to Riviera Nayarit in summer 2020 is the brand new One&Only Mandarina.

Located on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the 104-villa luxury resort will open its doors on June 1, marking the launch of the multi-billion-dollar Mandarina development.

“Mandarina allows us to bring One&Only’s signature experiences to this unrivalled destination in Mexico,” said Philippe Zuber, Chief Operating Officer, Kerzner International. “This brand-defining resort will be the latest addition to One&Only’s global portfolio and will showcase our commitment to the destination and creating truly memorable moments.”

Upon completion, the resort’s free-standing villas will float above the treetops or perch against the cliffs, with each one boasting its own private plunge pool. In addition, there’ll be 54 Private Homes, among the first One&Only residences in the world, that are available to own.

Guests will find a variety of dining and entertainment concepts that highlight regional flavours and locally sourced ingredients. These include the Jetty Beach Club, located on the resort’s private beach, as well as an adult-only venue that will serve Mexican cuisine.

The One&Only Spa will be where to go for ultimate relaxation in one of six enclosed treatment rooms, while a fully-equipped fitness studio, outdoor yoga palapa, and a specialized outdoor gym carved from the surrounding landscape round out the on-site wellness facilities.

For ocean adventures, guests should head to The Jetty where they can moor their private yachts and set off directly for sailing, fishing and whale watching excursions along the coast. Young guests will love the dedicated KidsOnly, not to mention The Flatlands, located adjacent to the resort and featuring miles of nature trails.

One&Only Mandarina has been designed and built to respect and blend with the environment. Botany experts were consulted on the development of the resort to minimize the impact on the existing natural landscape.
