PRAGUE — Hard Rock International’s presence in Europe is stronger than ever with the announcement of its latest venture in Prague, coming in 2023.
The 523-room-and-suite Hard Rock Hotel Prague will be located within the wider city centre, just a short walk from the historic Old Town, and will offer all the same rock-star amenities of other Hard Rock properties.
Commenting on the project, Todd Hricko, senior vice president and head of global hotel business development, said: “Prague is a striking favourite among European capital cities and has experienced great development in its tourism industry in recent years. Hard Rock is honoured to announce the arrival of its music-infused presence to this beautiful city following two years of work on this project.”
Here are some highlights of the new hotel:
• The sixth floor will be home to the Sky Bar and an elegant specialty restaurant
• Views of the three-storey ‘Feature Wall’, a 5,900 square-foot soundwave of moving light, can be enjoyed at Lobby Bar
• Dall-day dining will be offered at Sessions restaurant, while Constant Grind Coffee & Bar will be the place to go for fresh coffee and light bites during the day, and cocktails at night
• Brand-signature amenities include a rooftop swimming pool, a full-service Rock Spa, a Body Rock Fitness Centre, the Rock Shop, @Biz Business Centre, and the lavish Rock Star Suite
• In-room programs include the music-infused yoga program Rock Om, and The Sound of Your Stay, where guests enjoy complimentary use of Fender guitars, amps and headphones
• There’ll be an 1,800-capacity ballroom for live entertainment and meeting spaces totalling 59,000 square feet
• The external Woodstock Lawn will be used for exhibitions, social events and more
Hard Rock Hotel Prague is the latest in a series of hotel announcements from the brand, following the recent opening of Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, the 30th hotel in the portfolio, and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the world’s first Guitar Hotel. In 2020, the brand will open Hard Rock Hotel Dublin, Hard Rock Hotel Madrid, Hard Rock Hotel Amsterdam and Hard Rock Hotel Budapest.
