MONTREAL — Transat is promoting two brand new hotels on Cayo Cruz this winter.

Cayo Cruz, an island off Cuba’s northern coast, is less than an hour from Cayo Coco airport, says Transat, with white-sand beaches reminiscent of Cayo Largo. It’s less than two hours from Camaguey and Transat is also offering one-day excursions to Camaguey from Cayo Cruz.

For winter 2019-2020 Transat is offering packages in two recently built 4.5-star hotels in Cayo Cruz. The first, Valentin Cayo Cruz, is an adults-only resort with 546 rooms, five restaurants and three pools. The second, the Hotel Marina & Spa Cayo Cruz, is a boutique hotel with modern décor, 60 spacious rooms and a choice location near the marina.

Cayo Cruz will be accessible with Air Transat this winter via direct flight to Cayo Coco from Montreal (four flights weekly), Quebec City (two flights weekly), Toronto (four flights weekly), as well as Ottawa, Hamilton and Halifax (all three one flight weekly).
