NEW YORK — It’s a dog-eat-dog world out there, but luckily in New York City they’re also eating ribeye steak.
INNSIDE by Meliá New York NoMad hotel has debuted a new menu at its Wilson restaurant that’s been specifically designed for dogs. Created by culinary director Jeff Haskell, who came up with the idea after cooking for his dog Stella, the menu features such doggylicious items as a 16 oz Grilled Ribeye Steak (US$42), Sliced Apples & Heirloom Carrots ($11), and a Bowl of Mixed Berries ($14).
And for pups who are watching their weight? There’s a Pan Roasted True North Salmon for $28, and a Grilled Chicken Breast for $16, both of which four-legged diners are sure to ‘woof’ down.
But the best part? All items are human-friendly, too, meaning guests and their beloved pooches can order off the same menu!
The only downside is, due to regulations from the Department of Health, pups must dine (on a leash or in a pet crate) outdoors at The Wilson. But with the restaurant’s cozy outdoor terrace, we’re sure furry friends won’t mind one bit.
The dog menu, which debuted earlier this month, will be available throughout the summer, reports People.
