ORLANDO — Visit Orlando is hitting the road for a series of travel agent training seminars in three key Canadian markets.
For the first time this year, the 2018 Visit Orlando Sales Mission will visit the city of St. John’s on Oct. 15, followed by stops in Montreal on Oct. 16 and Toronto on Oct. 17.
The seminars aim to provide significant information about the destination, and present agents the opportunity to complete the Orlando Travel Academy course as well as share tips on how to become an ‘Orlando Travel Expert’.
Each evening will begin with a trade show featuring Orlando suppliers, including Walt Disney World Parks & Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, and SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, plus key hotel and transportation partners. Canada’s major tour operators will also be in attendance to highlight their Orlando offerings.
Following the trade show, a presentation will be given by Visit Orland and its partners that will include new and upcoming offerings. The trade show and food/drinks reception will be held from 5:00-6:30 p.m. with destination training from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
