MONTREAL — Air Transat is encouraging all Canadians to book a trip to France this summer, where it offers a total of 46 direct flights a week plus 89 connections.
In addition to daily flights to Paris year-round, Transat, which has been flying to France for 30 years, offers service to Lyon, Nice, Marseille, Nantes, Bordeaux and Toulouse every summer season. This summer, the carrier offers five directly weekly flights from Montreal to Marseille, four to Lyon and Toulouse, three to Nantes and Bordeaux, and two to Nice.
Paris is also served by flights from Toronto (five direct and three connecting), Vancouver (three direct and 13 connecting), Quebec City (three direct and six connecting), and Calgary (nine connecting), while flights to Lyon, Nice, Nantes, Bordeaux, Marseille and Toulouse are available with a connection in Montreal.
Air Transat also offers a multi-destination flight option, making it possible to land in one city and return from another at no extra cost. This advantage allows travellers to combine several destinations without having to backtrack. A holiday in Lyon can therefore be combined with a getaway to Nantes.
In addition, Transat is encouraged Canadians to learn more about France by visiting Experience Transat, a blog by and for globetrotters. The blog features everything from cool finds to suggested activities, such as top things to do in La Rochelle and it’s neighbouring island, Ile de Ré, and travel tips in Angers in the beautiful Loire Valley.
