ANGUILLA — The Anguilla-St. Maarten Ferry Terminal is back up and running after being shuttered due to Hurricane Irma last year.

The news was announced by the Anguilla Tourist Board (ATB), which thanked the Ministry of Tourism, Charter Boat Owners, the Government of St. Maarten and other Dutch authorities for “the diligence, cooperation, time and energy dedicated to getting the facility ready for operation.”

ATB also expressed its appreciation to all private sector partners for their “patience and understanding” as both the Dutch and Anguillan authorities worked to reopen the terminal.

Operations resumed on July 16. The port of entry is housed on St. Maarten and is located within close proximity to Princess Juliana International Airport.

Passengers are reminded that a US$5 levy applies when departing Anguilla’s Blowing Point Ferry Terminal to the Anguilla-St. Maarten Ferry Terminal in St. Maarten.
