ORLANDO — Visit Orlando has named Canlink Travel as its official trade representation in Canada.
Among Canlink’s duties will be implementing sales strategies and activities, supporting the trade with training, presentations and tools, and ensuring the trade is kept up to date on all growth in the destination.
Joining the Canlink team, and dedicated specifically to the Visit Orlando account, is Kerry Sullivan, who brings with her a wealth of destination sales and marketing experience. Prior to her new role, she spent 19 years representing the Puerto Rican tourist board in Canada. She will now serve as the main liaison between the Canadian travel agency community and Visit Orlando.
“We have a long history of working closely with Canada’s travel trade industry,” said Elaine Blazys, Vice President of Travel Industry Sales for Visit Orlando. “Canlink owners Elaine and Brent Carnegie, along with their team of experts, will be an extension of the Orlando-based team to specifically provide the Canadian travel industry with even more personalized service and education.”
Visit Orlando is the official tourism association for the destination, with representation in more than a dozen countries around the world. For more information go to VisitOrlando.com/trade.
