TORONTO — More than 450 agents and 175 supplier representatives attended the TL Network’s 19th annual Canadian Fall Regional Events, held recently in Markham, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary.
This year’s theme, ‘Stay in the Lead’, was part of a push to show TL Network agents how to leverage the tools and training available to help grow their business and stay in the lead. There were also networking opportunities, supplier partner roundtable discussions and a sold-out trade show. Events focused on the technology, marketing and selling tools available to members, frontline agency training, and TL Network program updates.
“Our Canadian Fall Regional Conferences provided excellent opportunities for both our owner/managers and frontline agents to maximize each program and to learn how to tailor them to their own business needs,” said TL Network’s Vice President Christine James. “Each city’s events offered a memorable day of learning and networking that has proven both popular and successful, year after year, and will help agencies get the most out of their valuable TL Network membership.”
TravelPack CEO Lionel Rozario said the TL Network’s Eastern Conference “was valuable and stayed in true form to provide agencies with the tools needed to really ‘Stay in the Lead’.” Rozario added: “I found the training and trade show very important in terms of growing our business. I’m very excited to introduce my team to the new learnings from this conference so that we can continue to grow and keep one step ahead of the competition.”
Led by the flagship Travel Leaders-branded Associates, the 6,800 travel agencies of TL Network combined generate more than $17 billion in annual sales volume, making it the travel industry’s largest travel agency organization.
